Leftism is Based on the Murder of the Father

"A man who won’t believe in God will believe in anything." - G.K. Chesteron

Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, in his magnum opus, Leftism Revisited, made the assertion the leftism was based on the "murder of the Father" and the attempt to overthrow him out of envy.

You can do a lot with that comment. Leftism is almost always materialistic and atheistic. And of course, God is traditionally male.

Feminism is leftist...and oftentimes atheistic (or paganistic). And is based on hatred of men, hatred of "patriarchy," the hatred of any idea of God the Father.

I have for over 20 years thought leftism was based on hate, which they project onto their enemies. It's why they talk about "hatred" so much. It's their hatred, projected on others. One of its tactics is to portray themselves as victims, when in reality they are the victimizers.

Leftism is feminine, specifically the Bad Feminine. The same applies to feminism. Want an example of the Bad Feminine? Try Lilith, Adam's first wife, who murdered babies and ate men.

Leftism is never about equality. It's about power. The power, ultimately, to destroy the Father, and men. It's one of the reasons why women should be kept out of positions of authority in politics and most especially the Church, otherwise we'd end up worshiping some Goddess (and witches)...who will end up being Moloch (like sacrificing babies).

Leftist's ideas have never worked and they are working less and less every day.

Take it back further...who was it that revealed God was a Father? It was Jesus.

So basically anything that is out to overthrow or usurp the power of God as a loving father and replace it with a tyrant is ultimetly satanic in nature.

He once used the word "Abba," which translates as "Daddy."

I don't believe in what Chesterton says above.

@Mindstorm,

Maybe you just meant that as a clever play on Chesterton's words, but I think he was spot on. Just talk to any "new ager". They don't believe in God, but they do believe in many fantastical things with far less support than the Bible offers.

No, I mean it in this way:
I don't believe in unicorns, but that doesn't mean that I hate them.

"Holy fuck, you people are crazy."

In what way, Simon? Care to explain? Or are you just a hit-and-run troll?

Leftists have no concept of sanctity /impurity or tradition and culture. I'm not talking about disagreements between sects over the usage of holy water or eating fish on friday. These people fundamentally lack these faculties in the same way that a tonedeaf person has trouble with music or a color blind person cannot perceive certain wavelengths of light. They are not whole people. Psychologist Jonathan Haidt's theory is that the right considers a range of values that the left simply does not percieve. Within a culture and tradition the talents of these people can be put to good use. When the culture cracks, it's virtues and values are no longer taken in proportion with one another, and individual virtues run amok. This is what modernity in all its variants(feminism, atheism, libertarianism, communism, etc.) is; the cracking apart of the old, individual Christian virtues in such a way that they lose their greater meaning and become destructive. This is what Chesterton was constantly banging on about, and what he meant when he talked about people who'd lost their faith believing in anything.
