Women have been turning against men for a long time, although many of them don't believe it and delude themselves it's "equality."
The next step is for children to turn against mothers (and fathers).
It's going to be women turning against men, men turning against women (which is why most of the Manosphere exists), fathers turning against children, children turning against both parents...
Leftists will cheer this, of course, since they want to destroy the family and have been open about this desire for a long time.
George Orwell predicted these things. But then, so did someone else, a few thousand years ago.
"They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." - Luke 12:53
"Women have destroyed men's ability to love them by turning it into a crime. And, they have further alienated the men who are even still willing to try by their arrogant and hate-filled demeanor and demands." - No'mam blog

Its on the Völuspá as well
Brothers will fight
and kill each other,
sisters' children
will defile kinship.
It is harsh in the world,
whoredom rife
—an axe age, a sword age
—shields are riven—
a wind age, a wolf age—
before the world goes headlong.
No man will have
mercy on another.
This one strikes home for me.
5 years ago my daughter decided she was gay. Of course, that made her morally and intellectually superior to her parents. When she 'came out' (don't say 'came out of the closet' you homophobic chit bird, because that's OFFENSIVE...) - she did it with the guns blazing. She did it by e-mail, and described what an abusive father I was, what a negligent cunned stunt her mother was ... and we just sat...stunned. Where did all this hate and drama come from? She was never abused and in fact, she grew up in pretty good circumstances over all. I forget the rest of her message - mostly threats and ultimatums about how the family was going to change and become politically correct, how we would all defer to her and her ugly girlfriend... or else. Disgusted and enraged - I sent her an email back saying I was pretty damned disappointed and disgusted with her as well. It was the last time we communicated for years. I calmed down a week later and asked if we could talk, face to face - but got no answer on the email. She had just moved to Vancouver and I didn't have her phone number. Two weeks later I tried again. Nothing. A month later...nothing. 6 months later...nothing. It was torture because I didn't know what was going on, why she was acting the way she did, and I didn't know if she was alive or dead.
Eventually, worried sick about her...I did a web search on her - and immediately wished I hadn't. My daughter was a militant lesbian feminist and a rabid social justice warrior. Her love-partner was a 24 karat nut job. I started to research these and other related topics.
Say what ya want about Vox Day and the manosphere - they understand the SJW inside out. Slowly I learned about them and third wave feminism...and my daughter's behaviours started to make an odd sort of sense. I joined a closed forum for fathers of gay daughters where you could talk honestly about the problems they pose and I learned that my case was not unique. While faggots tend to be happy and boisterous and outgoing...lesbians tend to be mean, sullen and angry.
Several years later we tried to patch things up but it degenerated once again into her screeching and shrieking over the e-mail, followed by the sullen silence. This time, she even shut out my idiot liberal in-laws that celebrate the pervert and feminist agenda. They even sent her money for her birthday via EMT...and she took the money but refused to talk to them otherwise. They were shocked and hurt but I just laughed. This is what queers do.
I've heard the reactionaries and manospherians say that women should have to defer to men by law...but I don't think that will help the unhappy, wretched woman. The Bible rails against the 'wicked woman' and rightfully so - they try to spread their unhappiness even to those that love them and would otherwise support them.
I dunno but for me and mine, neither the Bible nor the manosphere have any real answers. Sometimes the best road is the one that takes you away from such women and leave them on a road where they can only hurt themselves. Sometimes that is the hardest road to take of all.
I hope she finds some happiness and that her road takes her to good places...but I have my fears.
Glen's account is indeed heart breaking, as I get on his case, I do feel for him. It seems to me and I may be wrong, but the problem seems to be rooted in the college or university she went to. Not just that one but at least ninety some percent of them. Our forebears were right in thinking that colleges caused people to be flaky and alienated. Many students get cultured in such things as John Waters movies, the Doors, Marx, Trotsky, Mao, different drugs and Aleister Crowley. If I had it to do over I would have just skipped college altogether.
Old wounds, Quartermain. They scab over and eventually heal over time. You are free to get on my case because you can bet that I deserve it! HAR HAR HAR!
I don't know what happened - but I would bet the farm on you being exactly right. Previous to her coming out - that was our last great battle. Indulge me again, dear readers (Victor Quartermain and Bob probably already know how this goes).
About ten years ago my daughter came into town and wanted a meeting. This was about 5 years before she came out of the closet. She was taking the basic sciences at the U of C and I was pretty sure she was going to tell me she washed out. She showed up - with my idiot father and mother in law in tow. That's not good. They pushed past me, headed straight for the kitchen table, sat themselves down...and waited. I KNEW something was up.
"Okay kid, out with it: what's up?" And with the long face, she told me that she was indeed dropping out of the sciences. I didn't explode or get mad; those courses are goddamned hard and you have to be 110% dedicated or they WILL flunk you out. That is a lot to ask of a 20 year old. I told her it was alright, she could move home, get a job and figure out what she wanted to do with her life. "That's just it, Pop," she said, "I am dropping the sciences - and enrolling in Fine Arts & Crafts at Mickey Mouse U..."
"No." I said firmly. And that is when my idiot liberal in-laws went off! The old bitch chimes in "She has to follow her heart! The money will follow that...!!!" When I said there was no jobs for liberal arts flunkies, my ass hole father in law beaks off "That's YOUR opinion!" he says, "all education is GOOD education!!!". So I asked - did Mickey Mouse U have a salary/employment survey for their grads? No. Did she know of ANYONE wiith a degree and successful career in art? No. When I told my daughter she would be financially better off living at home WITHOUT a job, smoking grass all day - than taking the liberal arts they all laughed at me like I was a nut. Those f-tards told my daughter that yes, she was a good enough artist to make a living at it. Yes, she DID need to go to university to study it. No, she shouldn't listen to her father who was just being a mean old negative poopey-head. "Enough of this!" says the father in law, "We're all going out to lunch! I'll buy...!" ...and they all push away from the table and stand up.
"SIT." I growled at the wife. "We need to have a talk about your parents, wife...". The father in law was going to make a stink but I pushed him out the door along with his half witted wife and told him to bring back my daughter early in the afternoon. Then I sat down and read my wife the riot act - her parents had no say in this or in my home and they would bloody well mind their place, or by God I would put them in it. Jesus, I was never as mad at my idiot in laws as I was that day.
After lunch they came back and I told the in laws not to take off their shoes - they weren't staying. I needed to talk to my daughter alone. Again, they were miffed, but I closed the door in their faces and sat down with the kid. I explained the career vector she was on: 4~5 YEARS taking the course. Student loans out the wazoo. Paying back those student loans for 4 or 5 years on the wages of a barista or a waitress because she wouldn't get a real job with her mickey-mouse degree. 4 or 5 years after THAT to take a real course and start all over again, followed again, by student loans. Ya know what she said to me?
"Wah! Why can't you support me like my grandparents?!?! Why are you always trying to undermine me...?"
Today she's in her early 30's, living like a 17 year old runaway. She works part time in a bicycle shop, her love-partner has exzema and apparently can't go outside for weeks at a time because of it...and that's all I know. I don't speak to my liberal in laws anymore...but apparently they are beginning to realize that I was right and they were wrong. (It only took 'em ten years, so I suppose for liberals...that ain't bad. Most of those clot headed cnuts spend their entire lives in the dark).
It is my conviction that Darwin, Murphy and the stars themselves aligned themselves against my daughter that day - assisted in no small measure by my moronic in laws. Any bridges between us have been systematically mined and blown up...and have to be rebuilt from the ground upwards. Personally I don't think it is going to happen, I reject liberalism, homosexuality, pedophilia, political correctness and social justice en masse - and I will not be bullied by their adherents in the least. Any time any compromise is offered, my daughter doubles down on stupid and then the shrieking and screeching starts. She turned 30 this year. Ye gods!
It's a hard thing for a man to look into a mirror and admit that he's failed as a father; about the only thing vaguely comforting in all this, is that it has happened to far better men than I.
It's too late for me...but guys like Bob and Quartermain and even yourselves - will want to keep a very, very close eye on your daughters. There are evil forces acting on them and they are only getting worse as we become ever more liberalized.
I'm so very happy I'm not married, have no in-laws and no children.
Glen, Your daughter had no business being in college. If you were ever serious about her finding a good man to settle down with, you would have been vetting eligible bachelors back when she was 16 years old. This bullshit about, "my daughter is gonna be a STEM graduate" is/was a goddamn pipe dream and you damn well know it.
Like Bob said 80% of the college students don't belong. I'm not sure if even I belonged there. For me, it was a waste of time and money. The bullshit "Follow your heart and the money will follow" has got to go. The only professional artists are well connected rich kids. I been saying "Modern Art is a plot by some rich people to find a living for unemployable relatives."
@Anonymous at 5:06, hindsight advice is a nickel per gross, so get off Glen's case.
" There are evil forces acting on them and they are only getting worse as we become ever more liberalized." It's not just acting on the daughters but the sons as well.
My Father told me that in the '50's, Allen Ginsberg was almost being puffed in the so-called hollowed halls of higher learning. The rot was setting earlier on.
While I don't regret not getting married, I do regret not having kids.
A new wrinkle in the war between the sexes that's been going for a long time:
http://www.unz.com/freed/a-petticoat-military/
I have been seeing some of that crap when I was in the US Army thirty odd years ago.
Ayup.
I figured if I could do it - my daughter could too. I want you boys to know something: I tutored my daughter when she started flunking out in math in grade 7. Nothing strenuous - I just made sure she did her math for at least 15~20 minutes a night - and started pushing her beyond grade level. She was a quick study.
At the conclusion of grade 7 she was doing simple high school alegebra. By grade 8 she was doing well in quadratics and basic geometry. In grade 9 she was doing beginner calculus and basic integration and differentiation. I can look you fellas in the eye and tell you that there was NOTHING in ANY of the STEM programs she couldn't do. That is the heart-breaker of it for me. She could have done ANYTHING.
I can just see how those chit birds did it, though. She had an artistic streak and had amassed a fair collection of her work. I can just see her beating her head against the wall trying to figure out linear algebra and fourier transforms...and then talking to some ass hole of an old hippy prof at mickey mouse U who would tell her the same thing her grandparents did: that she had real artistic talent, that she could make a handsome living with a hobby...who is a kid gonna listen to? The grumpy old stubfart of a father telling her to knock herself out now for a pay off later - or the groovy beardo of an art prof telling her she can flake out now and cash in later? The way they hook those kids is insidious and I wonder if it isn't legally actionable in court! It damned well should be if it isn't!
I don't regret my marriage...but I do regret having kids.
I tried.
I also saw that one by Fred Reed, Quartermain.
I don't get it. I honestly don't. What do women get out of this? It's like me - being 51, out of shape and old - and wanting to step into the ring for a death match with the year's reigning UFC champ!
Hell, it's WORSE than that. I am the only one that would get hurt in a scenario like that - but for the squaddies that rely on each other in the battlefield, these women are going to get not only themselves killed, but their men as well. What kind of moral and intellectual cripple will force herself into a setting like that? And what kind of moral and intellectual cripples in the military would allow it?
2 points about college:
1) A college diploma ( in any subject from almost any college) is among the minimum qualifications for an increasing number of job positions and promotion prospects. It's is what a high school diploma used to be before they became meaningless. It's so common now that employers almost think that you're some sort of fuck up if you don't have one. Of course, everyone knows that 90% of your classwork is total bullshit, but the diploma is supposed to prove that you have the potential to be a good little worker bee -that you spent 4 years showing up on time, jumping through hoops and doing what you were told. So, in the best case, it's certification that you're not an idiot and might be worth training.
The trick of it is that unless you go to a really good school or do a STEM degree or are interested in a job that requires a specific degree, it doesn't really matter much what you study or where you get your degree from. Those things pale in comparison to just getting your job ticket punched and getting it done as quickly and cheaply as possible so that you can get on with your real life. Even fancy schools and tough degrees don't guarantee anything anymore, and some
STEM degrees (biology, chemistry) are probably less useful than a liberal arts degree by themselves. A drama graduate can at least direct community theatre. What the hell can a guy with a biology degree do, except apply for grad school?
2) An overwhelming portion of the college education system itself is badly outdated and could be replaced with internet videos and proctored certification tests. It's 2015. Books are cheap and the internet is basically free, but we're still pretending that it's 1439. Our system is a crazy medieval vestige from a time when books were rare, hand copied things and it made more economic sense to hire some guy to give lectures in front of big groups of students. In my calculus courses for instance, I watch videos on youtube, work problems on my own and then show up at my class on test day. The teacher on youtube is a lot better than my professors, and he doesn't charge me anything. This is the direction things have to move in, and you see this becoming more normalized with schools like WGU coming into existence. Right now, it's still a status thing to go away to school (another anachronism) but people have to eventually realize that going all these thousands of dollars in to debt to spend 4 years Debauchery Camp U is really crazy.

2 points:
1)Modern art is pretty good for home decorating. I'd probably rather have a Hoffman or Pollock painting hanging in my living room than a Bouguereau or an ancient greek statue. Even though the latter work is better it seems too heavy for something I'm going to put over my couch or coffee table.
2)I don't agree with Bob about only the top 20% of the population and college. Maybe that would be best for a 19th century, classical style of education, but that's not the world we live or the purpose that college fills these days.
Nurses with bachelor degrees for instance have better patient outcomes (10.9% reduction in patient mortality when the proportion of nurses with bachelor's degrees rises by 10%)than those with associate degrees. Before I started having serious back problems, I was training to become a paramedic/firefighter, and I took a lot prereq biology and anatomy classes with nursing students and spent a lot of time around nurses in clinical settings. I really doubt that many of them were cognitively in the upper 20% of the population (I always had the highest test scores in these classes and usually by a very wide margin), but also I don't doubt that their patients benefit from them having more education. Whether the college is making them better nurses or just weeding out the dummies is irrelevant because either way it's doing its job.
Glenn, when I was a mechanic, just about every woman I ever met in every facet of auto work was a lesbian. But there were 2 kinds: real lesbians that you could spot from a mile away and "their women" or the girlfriends of these lesbians. The latter had usually been married with kids, and they were also usually unstable women who'd come to lesbianism recently following a messy divorce/breakup. I often wondered what the recidivism rate was among these camp followers. No offense intended, but in hindsight was it a surprise when your daughter told you the news? It's normal for the education system to leave it pupils full of messed up ideas for a few years or a few decades maybe after graduation, but a full on conversion to homosexuality is pretty extreme. I know you've thought about this, but do you think you could have done anything different that would have changed the outcome. Pardon the personal questions, but I'm a guy trying to learn something from this situation you've brought up. I'm taking notes here because I don't want this to happen to me.
