Indifference, Not Hate, is the Opposite of Love

“Indifference is the strongest force in the universe. It makes everything it touches meaningless. Love and hate don't stand a chance against it.” - Joan D. Vinge

"...love must needs precede hatred; and nothing is hated, save through being contrary to a suitable thing which is loved. And hence it is that every hatred is caused by love." - Thomas Aquinas

Thomas Aquinas wrote that in the Summa Theologica.

I've noticed this myself from personal experience. You don't truly hate something unless you first love it. But when you don't love anymore, hate is not the opposite. Indifference is. (I've also found there is envy in hate, which is why the serpent in the Garden of Eden is a symbol of hate and envy.)

It's an old observation, and certainly not original with me, that indifference, not hate, is the opposite of love. If you don't love or hate someone you can certainly then be indifferent to them.

Now since men who get married can be divorced against their will and lose their money and kids, then not getting married and not having kids is rational self-interest. It's not based on hatred of women, just basic economics.

I have noticed PUAs do hate women. Again, personally, I have seen this.

So really who hates who?

Erik von Keuhnelt-Leddihn, whom I have quoted often, wrote that leftism (and feminism is leftist) is based on "the murder of the Father." Patriarchy, you know. And what do you get when the Father and patriarchy are murdered? Just look around. It brings what John Milton called "Chaos and Old Night."

This means that leftists and feminists - the more fanatic ones - hate men. Why? Because men have lost control of women and let them run rampant. And women hate men for letting them do this. They're like children with no discipline.

That's love coming first and leading to hate.

But men are not responding with hate but indifference.

I expect fanatical feminist women to double-down on their hate, the more that men show indifference and withdraw from them.

"Interestingly, the Aryan/Persian/Greek pantheon is based on the murder of not the father but of 'chaos' and dragons, giants and monsters. Suggestive of what existence reverts to when the father is murdered." - Tom Novak

Indifference is really the soul killer.
