Love, Envy and Babies

Let's assume that the story of the Garden of Eden is an accurate representation of human nature (after all, this story has been around for thousands of years) and that women's greatest sins are pride and envy (which are two of the Seven Deadly Vices) and men's is listening to women and doing the wrong things because of it (this is cowardice, which is exactly opposite of one of the Four Cardinal Virtues, courage).

Incidentally, Carl Jung said women's greatest sin is thinking she is always right, and that is Biblical Pride (or what the Greeks called Hubris). He also said women would never be happy until they gave up that delusion.

Now imagine if women's pride and envy enshrined in law. Men at first might not realize this, but many do once they are married. Thus, we end up with a 50% divorce rate, such as we have now. And why we're at less than replacement rate when it comes to babies.

Love, unfortunately, can go away. It can even turn to hate.

I've pointed out before I define things according to the Seven Deadly Vices: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth (Acedia), Wrath, Envy and Pride.

You certainly don't want to enshrine these human imperfections and failing into law! That's insanity!

But that is what is happening now. Leftism, which is feminine (specifically the Bad Feminine) is pretty much that law of the land. It based on envy and pride ("you hurt my sensitive feelings, so you can't be allowed to say those things.")

The way I see it, aristocracy is masculine and democracy is feminine.

You don't want to make Vice, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride the laws of the of land. You don't want a culture based on them, either, and we have that, too.

It's unfortunate, but women destroy everything they get involved in if it doesn't involve cooking and knitting. They allow those Seven Deadly Sins to erupt and run rampant. "Slutwalks," women trying to invade men's spaces (and thereby destroy them), trying to make men support them through the law (Affirmative Action for one)...lust, envy, gluttony and greed. See what I mean?

The Manosphere is a reaction to feminism. As for as I'm concerned, it's supposed to be based on the Seven Cardinal Virtues:

1. Faith is belief in the right things (including the virtues!).
2. Hope is taking a positive future view, that good will prevail.
3. Charity is concern for, and active helping of, others.
4. Fortitude is never giving up.
5. Justice is being fair and equitable with others.
6. Prudence is care of and moderation with money (with everything in reality).
7. Temperance is moderation of needed things and abstinence from things which are not needed.

By the way, "chastity" does not mean "celibacy." It just means not letting your sex life control you. You know, not being a slave to pussy and letting women control you, which is what happens to so-called PUAS.

Some people think the Seven Deadly Vices and Seven Cardinal Virtues are "religious." They are, but they're not. They go all the way back to the Greeks, and were picked up by Christianity.

And even if they are religious, so what? You can't escape religion, contrary to the delusions of leftists and leftist-libertarians (who are not libertarians, just leftists).

Things won't stay as they are now. They never do. Things always change.

Since women don't change things for the better, it is, again (as always), up to men.

Weak and ignorant men, which is most men today, are just as much of the problem as rebellious women. Men will put up with a lot to get sex. So I believe it will be a long time, and with a lot of pain, before things change.

Hell, there are lots of married men in sexless marriages. Men will put up with a lot from women just to be with them and not feel lonely, and they're not even getting any sex, or very, very little, if at all.

You seem up to speed on ancient Greek philosophy Bob - and I am not. How do Stoics fit into the Manosphere in your opinion?

I remember seeing some very thought provoking articles on the philosophy and how it pertains to the present day problems with our women but I'll be damned if I can find them. (Might have been that you wrote one of them...).

The most well-known Stoic is Marcus Aurelius and he had some useful things to say.

Roman Emperor who died in combat.

How elitist. Listen, men can make their own decisions as to remain single, marry/have children. Provide information, great. Chastise them for not measuring up to YOUR standard? Good luck.

"So I believe it will be a long time, and with a lot of pain, before things change."

Change what? Back to "patriarchy"? Surely you jest.

We already have "patriarchy." Men invented everything in the world.

I still think you're a hostile woman who just can't seem to stay away from here.

I still think a pussy begging mangina jumping on its high horse to rescue those damsels in distress from us swinish men who say anything negative about any woman no matter how true personally...but in this case, that's merely a distinction without a difference. A hostile woman or a mangina troll is still a troll. But be that as it may, even though this troll has nothing to offer the conversation (but is always eager to offer mind reading services, supposed world class street fighting skills etc), Mangina/Feminazi extraordinaire does provide passive aggressive comic relief.

I think "MGTOW'd Out" is actually a man - he stated a few things in a number of previous posts that indicated being male, but I don't recall which posts.

For the record, I neither hate marriage nor women, despite MGTOW'd Outs' mind reading attempts.

I'm a man and I'm just trying to understand women, and society and world the we all live in. I live in reality - not some blog trolls' delusional misunderstanding of what they think the world should be like, but isn't. The fact of the matter is that men are in grave danger in todays' legal and social environment. And female nature is what it is, and it's not always complementary or helpful to men, but quite destructive and exploitive.

LosAnglesKing/The Obvious, you say the same thing over and over again.

"I live in reality - not some blog trolls' delusional misunderstanding of what they think the world should be like, but isn't."

Here's the observable reality--some men are frustrated that old school patriarchy is now in the proverbial dustbin, the supposed 1950's utopia of a man who works hard and a has a honey on the side, has well-adjusted kids, and a doting, domesticated wife.

Men are going to make their own decisions whether to remain single, marry, and/or have kids. Provide them with information? Sure. Ultimately, they will make the choice, as it should be.
