I Have Never Seen a Man "Court" a Woman in my Life

Of course it didn't exist in middle school, because we were too young, but it also didn't exist in high school, because we just hung out with each other and went cruising (think American Graffiti).

Now you think it'd would exist in college, but it didn't, not really. A little bit, I suppose.

There were a couple of reasons. One is that it wasn't necessary. There were women you could just jump, and they almost never gave any indication they wanted you to. You just tried it and watched what happened. I started noticing that in high school.

Some of them expected you to jump them and then be a couple. You call that courting? It was completely backwards.

Then, sometimes, if you did ask a woman out, you sometimes got what is today called a "nuclear rejection." The whole thing was bizarre. You stood a better chance of just jumping on them and getting laid than asking them out.

I'll use one of my friends as an example. He actually asked women out, was rejected, insulted about his height, stood up, and had women leave in the middle of dates. But he did much better just jumping them.

Weird, huh? It was easier to make a pass at a woman than take the chance of asking her out and being excruciatingly humiliated. It was at times playtime for some men and a desert for those who tried tried to do it formally.

And if women were interested in you, they almost never showed it. It was as if they expected you to read their minds. I was told in college by one woman that she had a crush on me, which she said was "obvious." It wasn't obvious to me. I didn't have a clue. If they had just said, "I have a crush on you" I would have appreciated it, and no guy would have held it against them.

In other words, the romantic guys, with their asking out and courting, didn't stand a chance. But the guys who ignored that stuff and go straight for the kill - they did much better.

These women never figured out they were of low value - you could fuck them but not court them. Occasionally I investigate their lives - unmarried, alone, without husband, home and children, with a cat or a big dog to protect them from all those imaginary rapists out there.

Not surprisingly, everyone was unhappy all around.

Precisely what PUA'S do..you need to quit talking out of both sides of your mouth.

I've known several PUAs and all have ruined their lives - you need to grow up.

How does one jump a women? How does one know a woman wants to be jumped? You don't know so you go blindly?

This.

Every. Damn. Time.

And you never find out until after she has decided that you aren't interested and moves on.

Story of my life....

Well, in those days if we ended up alone, I figured they weren't going to say no. And they never did.
