Burning the Heretics

When the ideas of Communism and Socialism were first being taken seriously, back in the late 1800s, "intellectuals" cheered it as the coming Utopia. Some writers, among them W.H. Mallock (who is no longer known today), said they would produce slaughter and destruction such as the world has never seen. He was mocked, ridiculed and insulted.

It turned out that Mallock and the other critics of those vile leftist philosophies were right. And yet, still, even today, people are still trying to impose Communism on people, thinking, well, if we try it just one more time...if we just spend more money...

The same thing happened with Keynesianism. "Intellectuals" cheered it, and those who saw through it, such as Henry Hazlitt, were mocked, insulted and ridiculed. Yet it turned out the critics were right.

It's been the history of the world that when someone can logically poke holes in the prevailing paradigm, those who believe in that paradigm almost always respond with hysteria and every logical fallacy known.

When people act like that, what they are defending is a religion/cult, one based on faith, and to the extent there is any evidence for it, they cherry-pick it.

Some of the responses are often humorous. For example, every time I've called a woman on her bullshit she has responded with comments about my not being married (and yet knowing nothing about my marital status) or how I have a tiny dick and can't get laid, or something along those lines.

As for leftists, they always respond with how you are a hater (which is them projecting their own hate on others) or racism/sexism/ageism/lookism, etc. These are invariable responses, as predictable as the sun rising.

The same thing applies to the Manosphere. There are some truly silly areas in it, ones that have been shot down a few thousand years ago, and yet when that's pointed out, the believers can only respond with hysteria and logical fallacies.

I have this hypothesis that the truth cannot be successfully ridiculed. You can ridicule "2+2=4" all that you want, but you'll just make a fool of yourself and you won't be successful.

Yet if you can successfully ridicule the holes in a belief, that proves there is a lot of falsehood in that belief. And again, the believers can respond with little more than hysteria and logical fallacies.

Ridicule is an amazing weapon. I'd say that no government can successfully stand up to mass ridicule, and when that ridicule teaches a tipping point, that government is going to fall.

I'd say Mark Twain said it best: "No god and no religion can survive ridicule. No church, no nobility, no royalty or other fraud, can face ridicule in a fair field and live."

You're the old guard defending nonsense. When you see a few adverse comments on your blog and you say you're being burned at the stake for heresy, that's just the kind of hysterical gibberish the Keynesians pop off with when called out.

You say dumb shit. "Shit tests don't exist", wtf? You know women do that, and alwsys have. You've said so. But you didn't invent that term for it, so you get all butthurt and pretend there's sonething wrong with it thar you can't actually quantify or even verbalize. I'll tell you what I think it is: You feel excluded, somehow, for some reason. Just an ego thing. Well, everybody has to accept that he's not as big of a deal as he might like, even the President. Life goes on.

I read your blog because you're ususlly worth reading. But on just this one subject, you say dumb shit. It's dumb to tell people standing on the ground that there's no gravity. When I'm standing in the rain, don't tell me it's not raining. We do have women in our lives, you know.

You just proved my point. By the way, I'd say you are in your 20s...and you have a long way to go.
