Now That Women Have Liberated Themselves From Their Roles...

"More! More! is the cry of a mistaken soul." - William Blake

What women have liberated themselves from (and men let them do it) is love, health, happiness, fulfillment, children, home, and husband.

About 30 years ago I told a retired man: "Women expect all the advantages of being a man and a woman but want none of the responsibilities." He responded, "Yes, that's true," and the woman in the car said nothing.

Now it's got even worse. About five years ago a woman I know told me, "Men don't want to accept my career" but when I jokingly asked her to make me a sandwich she threw a fit. She didn't see the irony.

Women have liberated themselves from their traditional roles but expected men to keep to theirs. Did it not ever occur to them that men ultimately would liberate themselves from theirs. And now that men are doing so, women are shocked! Shocked!

When women were liberated (and men let them do it) from their traditional roles of supporters and nurturers, wives and mothers, did it not occur to them that men would liberate themselves from their roles as providers and protectors?

Especially since they get no gratitude or appreciation for doing do.

That's the big thing - no respect, no gratitude, no appreciation. Just "accept my career but don't expect me to make you a sandwich."

Har har! Let's see them change their own flat tires!

Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others. – Marcus Tullius Cicero

I'm going to take a wild guess and say her career wasn't a coal miner or trash collector.

Make-work internet job given to her by her father's rich friend. She gets to do it at home. Makes a lot of money, too.

Maybe she threw a fit because that's a dickish thing to ask.

I'm not white knighting here. Feminism is bullshit, that is apparent. But asking random women to make you a sandwich is like asking random IT nerds for their lunch money i.e. it comes off as hostile.

I've known her for six years.

Why, Bob....'Make me a sammich'? If that isn't a shit test, I dunno what is! HAR HAR HAR!

I actually agree with the concept and encourage it - shit testing, done properly, establishes limits and boundries. That particular test is valid I suppose - it is guaranteed to set a feminist off and allow you to separate the prospects from the discards.

My next shit test for the career woman on a power trip would be - "Could you be a sport and rotate the tires on the Jeep for me sometime this weekend?"

:)

I'll have to try that one!

Careful better hope she understands what rotating the tires means. She could just take it out for a short drive. That rotates the tires too.

Yes, this has been hidden from men and boys for the last several decades: women were to have complete freedom of action with no responsibilities, while men were expected to live up to their traditional responsibilities. Slowly the cat is getting out of the bag, but most boys and men are still be bamboozled.

Bachelor Nation: 70% of Men Aged 20-34 Are Not Married

Hey, Cheechy/Dusty/whatever. Why is that? Why they aren't in a hurry to become a future ex-husband?

I dunno. Why wouldn't a man want to become an unwilling slave to an ungrateful sow?

Peak spinster ahead. :)

This 70% figure is merely stating that men are not married. Now, it does not offer insight into whether those men are 1) engaged, 2) seriously dating, 3) casually dating, or 4) MGTOW’ing it.
Moreover, the author believes the primary factor is feminism and actually shames men to “step up” by marring and having children. The author even notes it is young men who set the criteria for intimate relationships, that the girls’ have to live by the guys’ demands, which means less romances and not offering a wedding ring as the ultimate prize. There are several reasons as to why they are not taking up the responsibilities of job, wife, and family—they have maturity issues, they are caught up in the Return Of Kings lifestyle, they lack job prospects, they seek to focus on their own career, they have school debt, they are getting out of a long-term relationship and want to be single, etc.

Whether feminism is the primary cause is up for debate. Regardless, men and women have the liberty to decide whether or not they want shack up and raise chillins. It’s not your decision, it’s not my decision. So, if the MGTOW’s and feminazi’s out there seek never to marry and have children, they are directly contributing to the decline of civilization.
