Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn

Atheism and socialism ("progressivism") always go together and they always destroy.

Those who thinks Europeans and Americans are going to return to paganism are deluded buffoons.

It depends on how you define paganism. If you define it as Asatru, Wicca, Neo-Hellenic practice or whatever , I agree . Probably not.

If you define it as "being post Christian" its already won.

Christianity as "The Thing" is probably done in Europe and in a few generations the US as well

Hoping that you can use it for a unifying ideology for for free social capital is just that hope.

In time though, there will be new belief systems that work, there always are. They may not unify great tracks of land or anything else but they will provide the solace humanity needs.

For now though, nationalism will have to suffice to expel foreigners and I suspect it will.

This won't make the unifiers, the people who think a diverse continent like Europe (its rich with many White cultures) ought to be a gulag, shopping mall without culture or identity just so they can get one more hit on the crack pipe of power and money but so be it.

And yes in case anyone asks, the US is also far too large to be one nation. Even if the entire population were say Caucasian with few American Indians thrown in, it would still be too diverse culturally to be one polity.

Like the hippy saying, when it comes to countries often enough small is beautiful.
