I think its not uncommon for women to just want to talk even if they say they are seeking advice. Sometimes the advice-seeking is just a cover. Many years ago I was having a talk with a girlfriend. She was kind of on a ramble and I had to take a leak. So I quietly put down the phone and when I returned, sure enough, she was still talking. Nice gal though.

I ceased years ago offering advice to women. Some of them completely misinterpret to the extent I think something might be wrong with their brains.
