On Carrie Fisher

I never liked Carrie Fisher as an actress. I thought Princess Leia wasn't funny and was abrasive and unfeminine. And there wasn't any chemistry at all between her and Harrison Ford.

But in real life Carrie was very witty and smart - and I've always been attracted to smart, witty women. Her being bipolar didn't bother me - much (I actually had a girlfriend once who was schizophrenic, and as long as she on her medication she was often very funny, although she really had no filters to speak of).

I'm sure I would have adored Carrie if I knew her. From a distance, of course (when you're that nutty relationships never work out - and I know that from personal experience).

I've never read any of her books, although some day I'll get around to it.

The first time I heard her interviewed was on the Diane Rehm show, in which she talked about her father, Eddie Fisher, "consoling" Elizabeth Taylor with "his penis." That one made me snicker.

And she also had a French bulldog as a pet (Robin Williams had a pug, the only dogs I've ever owned. Pugs are the comedians of the dog world, with the Frenchies in second place, although both are notorious for catastrophic gaseous emissions.).

A French bulldog, smart, witty...oh my. Good thing I never met her. I would have fallen right on the spot. Not that I would have ever stood a chance.

I once fell in love with a woman who turned out to be bipolar - and she was smart and witty. I have no idea why I'm like this except like is attracted to like. So I figure I'm not wrapped all that tight myself.

I've also found people with no sense of humor to some of the scariest people in the world. Along with people who don't like dogs. All of them also stupid, which is also a scary thing.

Words Are the Most Powerful Drug Known

Rudyard Kipling said that. And he would have known (I still have a paperback copy of his The Mark of the Beast and Other Stories - which I'd had since I was 12). He knew of which he wrote.

I also have a copy of Mein Kampf, which I was never able to finish except for the part on propaganda. Hitler was half-insane, half-genius, but he understood the power of words.

Advertising, propaganda, the news - all of it is an attempt to influence people by words.

Trump won because of words. "Make America great again." What did the other Republican candidates or Hillary Clinton offer? Nothing. Just insults like "Basket of deplorables." What moron wrote that for her? (When she said that I finally knew beyond all doubt she was going to lose.)

I have been intrigued by words my entire life. When I was about four I found a pencil and began scribbling on a piece of paper. I asked my father if any of them looked like words. He said one looked like "deer" (or maybe "dear). I was astonished. I remember that just as clear as can be.

I ended up as a newspaper reporter then editor, then left the field because most of my bosses (except one) were morons. Most newspaper stories are just filler around the ads. And selling ads is how newspaper make their money.

I much prefer this blog, which maybe nets me $150 a year. Which is fine with me. It keeps me in cigars (I had one woman tell me to stop blowing cigar smoke at the computer screen on Skype).

How people ended up being so influenced by words is beyond me. I know it has to do with telling stories, which is why I write so much about folk tales (misnamed "fairy tales" and myths.

People will always fall for stories, for good and bad.

We no longer have any common stories for this country. Instead we have at least two different cultures, and the the stories of those two different cultures determines how people vote (I guarantee you anyone who is a fan of "Law and Order" voted for Trump).

"Oprah"? Voted for Clinton.

I was 20 years old when the first Star Wars movie came out. It was a lot of fun but I was puzzled as to why it was such a huge hit. Then I found out it was based on the work of Joseph Campbell, the famous mythologist. Stories!

The United States (indeed the entire West) was founded on the stories of Christianity. It still has a powerful influence. The myths of the Greeks and Romans are pretty much gone. The influence of non-Christian stories (Judaism and Islam) has been a catastrophe for the West.

People always seek three things - meaning, importance and community. Anyone who can tap into those three things, by the power of words, can end up as President. Which is what Trump did. And until the Democrats can tap into those things they will always remain a coastal party appealing only to the stories of anti-American Third Worlders.

The Corruption of Religion by Government

"There is not a shadow of right in the general government to intermeddle with religion. Its least interference with it would be a flagrant ursupation." - James Madison

Has not everyone heard of the phrase about the phrase about the separation of government and religion? It's actually not law but is from a letter by Thomas Jefferson, written I think in 1802. Many people think it's in Constitution.

The Founding Fathers knew their history. I can't emphasize that enough. They, and the religious leaders of their time, just didn't want religion to stay out of government, but for government to stay out of religion. Because they knew that each corrupted the other.

They had the whole of European - indeed world - history before them and were very familiar with bloody religious wars. They wanted to avoid all that.

It was only religious fanatics who started wars and then the sheeple went along with it. Who today has not heard some lunatic preacher claim HIV or 9-11 was God's judgment on us? Or that Jesus is going to come back with blood and iron and genocide? Think of those nutty "Left Behind" novels. These people are insane.

Hardly any of the Founding Fathers were religious in the conventional sense. Most were Deists, which doesn't even exist anymore. Thomas Jefferson thought the history of Christianity had been nothing fanaticism and mass murder and corruption and bloodshed and was not a fan of it at all.

Fortunately religious fanaticism has bypassed the United States. I almost never meet any fanatics. The last one, whom by father hired as a carpenter, thought the Pope had sent assassins to kill him because he was exposing "the truth" about the Catholic church - and he used to call Catholic churches and get the priests to admit they trying to kill him. And he wouldn't shut up at work until my father yelled at him.

I haven't seen him for decades. I don't even know if the loon is still alive. If he is I hope he never has children.

Now that I think about it, the first fanatic I met was in college when I was 20. Everyone called him Mad Max, because he ranted and raved in the commons, called women whores, referred to himself as a "living saint," and was fired as a college instructor in mathematics because he wouldn't stop preaching in class.

Alexis de Tocqueville, who wrote the essential Democracy in America, was quite impressed by the religious feelings of Americans and how they wanted government to stay out of religion.

We're actually involved in some religious wars with our support of the blasphemous anti-Christian, anti-American state of Israel, and our meddling in the Islamic world. There has been war in that region of the world for 4000 years and we're not going to put an end to it no matter what we do.

This is what happens when you mix politics and religion, and ignoring what the Founding Fathers advised us.

I Wonder If Trump Has His Own Intelligence Service And Files On People

"He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty!" - Luke 1:52-53

I certainly would. Apparently J.Edgar Hoover did, which is why no one could remove him. He knew too much.

I was wondering why Trump had dinner with Mitt Romney. I wondered if Trump was really considering him for a position or just screwing with the backstabber. Apparently he was just screwing with never-worked-day-in-his-day rich boy (at first I was thinking of that old saying, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer").

The same with Newt Gingrich. I don't think either Newt or Mitt will ever have a position in Trump's administration. Both are politicians, and Trump has been hiring military people and businessmen.

Gingrich is especially vile. He's had multiple divorces and adulteries, and divorced his first wife in the hospital after she had cancer surgery - and she put him though college. He once said one wife wasn't "pretty enough to be the wife of the President" (talk about self-delusion if he thought he ever stood a chance to be President).

Gingrich's rational, reasonable demeanor on TV is an act and a con, just the way Hillary Clinton's is, as was Duyba Shrub's (who went to Harvard and Yale and is a war-mongering Massachusetts Yankee) attempt to portray himself as a conservative Texan decked out as a clown in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat (he has no business wearing either).

I don't trust politicians at all. Apparently Trump doesn't either. I consider both Romney and Gingrich to be fair weather friends. Gingrich saw which way the wind was blowing and tried to run to the front of the parade - which is the defining characteristic of politicians.

And after what Romney said about Trump did he really think Trump would either forgive or trust him? I sure as hell wouldn't.

Trump reminds me a bit of Teddy Roosevelt and the Bull Moose party. That one was anti-corporation and anti-Robber Baron - and corporations and Robber Barons is what we have today with the One Percent trying to get even wealthier and trying to crush the middle-class out of existence.

I'm sure the "elites" are horrified by Trump trying to drain the swamp vermin of their money and power. If I was one of them I sure would be.

The Intellectual Virtues are More Important than the Moral Virtues

The church fathers, such as Thomas Aquinas, put the intellectual virtues above the moral virtues - including chastity (which is not the same thing as celibacy). These were smart men and they had a lot of experience with human nature (which is why Donald Trump's comment about "grab her by the pussy" is merely adolescent bad taste and nothing else).

My experience has confirmed their observations. Think of the old saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Most of the "evil" in the world is not done by actual malice, but by those with good intentions gone awry.

Those who do things for "moral" reasons generally are self-righteous, and those who are self-righteous always think they are right. That means they think those who disagree with them are always wrong. Sometimes that means they believe you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, which include people's lives.

Thomas Sowell once wrote a book called, The Vision of the Anointed. His thesis was that those who think they are anointed think they are so intellectually and morally superior to the unwashed masses to they think this gives them the right to rule them and move them around like chess pieces. But more than anything else, they think they are more moral than everyone else.

In reality they are neither smarter nor more "moral" than anyone else. These days these people are called "leftists." Such people lack humility, which more than anything else means knowing your limitations.

People who don't know their limitations suffer from Hubris, or Pride, or what Russell Kirk called "the Monstrous Self." Call it what you want, but it is the worst sin of all and is the basis of all the rest such as envy, greed and gluttony. At their worst they end up as Pol Pot or Stalin or Hitler, all of whom were intellectual mediocrities but thought they were more moral than everyone else.

All of them were authoritarians but lacked true authority.

Because these people think they are "godless self-gods" they usually are atheists and in fact hate religion and would like to eradicate it (think of Barak Obama claiming the unwashed masses are "clinging to their guns and religion" - and he meant the inbred hillbilly Nazis in Flyover Land).

Does anyone really believe that Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama or either Bushes are smarter than they are? It really is true - anyone can be President. No matter how ignorant and stupid and destructive.

Martin Luther once called the world "the Devil's Inn" and the Bible clearly states this world is ruled by Satan, who is always walking to and fro up and down in the world and obviously having a damned good time doing it.

Hearing a Mosque Being Raided on my Computer Speakers

I owned a taxi for five years, so I could make my own hours and days.

I was living in St. Louis when 9-11 happened. I heard the towers being attacked on the radio in my cab (I was listening to the "Bob and Tom" comedy program). I parked my car and went inside a bank and watched the whole thing on their big-screen TV mounted on the wall. Everyone was standing their silently watching the towers burn).

Perhaps two weeks later I was on my computer (about five in the morning) when I heard a police raid come over my speakers. To this day I have no idea how I picked up. It was the one and only time I picked up anything on my speakers.

The police were conducting a raid on a local mosque. I still don't know where that mosque was located, but the few Muslims in St. Louis lived in the Bevo Mill area, which wasn't that far from where I lived. So I figured that's where I picked up the raid.

The police sounded totally professional and not upset at all. But they were conducting this raid before the sun was up.

I listened to it for perhaps half an hour, then decided to leave to pick up my students going to school on the desegregation program.

I did hear the word "mosque" several times, to that's why I knew it was a raid on one.

When I watched the news that night there was no a word about a raid. I even bought the newspaper - not a word about it.

To this day I have no idea who did the raid. FBI? Local police? Not a clue. Did they find anything? Not a clue. Is the mosque still there? Not a clue (I moved out of St. Louis many years ago).

That's one of the many stories I have about owning a taxi. Had I gotten up later I would have missed the raid completely.

It's Official: Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely From California

This was written by John Merline and is from Investor's Daily.

Democrats who are having trouble getting out of the first stage of grief — denial — aren't being helped by the fact that, now that all the votes are counted, Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote has topped 2.8 million, giving her a 48% share of the vote compared with Trumps 46%.

To those unschooled in how the United States selects presidents, this seems totally unfair. But look more closely at the numbers and you see that Clinton's advantage all but disappears.

As we noted in this space earlier, while Clinton's overall margin looks large and impressive, it is due to Clinton's huge margin of victory in one state — California — where she got a whopping 4.3 million more votes than Trump.

California is the only state, in fact, where Clinton's margin of victory was bigger than President Obama's in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama's 60%.

But California is the exception that proves the true genius of the Electoral College — which was designed to prevent regional candidates from dominating national elections.

In recent years, California has been turning into what amounts to a one-party state. Between 2008 and 2016, the number of Californian's who registered as Democrats climbed by 1.1 million, while the number of registered Republicans dropped by almost 400,000.

What's more, many Republicans in the state had nobody to vote for in November.

There were two Democrats — and zero Republicans — running to replace Sen. Barbara Boxer. There were no Republicans on the ballot for House seats in nine of California's congressional districts.

At the state level, six districts had no Republicans running for the state senate, and 16 districts had no Republicans running for state assembly seats.

Plus, since Republicans knew Clinton was going to win the state — and its entire 55 electoral votes — casting a ballot for Trump was virtually meaningless, since no matter what her margin of victory, Clinton was getting all 55 votes.

Is it any wonder then, that Trump got 11% fewer California votes than John McCain did in 2008? (Clinton got 6% more votes than Obama did eight years ago, but the number of registered Democrats in the state climbed by 13% over those years.)

If you take California out of the popular vote equation, then Trump wins the rest of the country by 1.4 million votes. And if California voted like every other Democratic state — where Clinton averaged 53.5% wins — Clinton and Trump end up in a virtual popular vote tie. (This was not the case in 2012. Obama beat Romney by 2 million votes that year, not counting California.)

Meanwhile, if you look at every other measure, Trump was the clear and decisive winner in this election.

The Existence of the Middle Class Prevents Class Warfare

"There is, in general, a dearth of reliable information in the United States. To sift the correct information from deceit, falsehood and fabrication requires a special gift - the ability to the weigh evidence" - Leftism Revisited, Eric von Kuehnelt- Leddihn (1990)

History tells us, without exception, the one war that has always existed has been between the politically powerful/rich - and everyone else. And always the people on the bottom have always risen up and slaughtered their oppressors.

It's happening in the U.S. today, with the One Percent and its political whores crushing the middle-class out of existence. Fortunately the U.S. doesn't have revolutions. We have peaceful coups, this time with the election of Donald Trump. Who isn't a politician.

The fact the U.S. has always had a huge middle-class has prevented the kind of bloody revolutions that has been the rule in the past.

I'm originally from the Midwest. Actually from a steel mill town. That steel mill is closed down, although it's opening up again - with perhaps 200 jobs. It's a start.

Because I'm from the Midwest is why I knew Trump was going to be elected. The retards on the East and West coast have always ignored the Midwest as Flyover Land populated by stupid inbred hillbillies whose only use was as cannon fodder. The polls ignored us, which is why I ignored the polls - because I knew they were utterly wrong.

Occasionally I'll get some foreigner telling me how it is with the U.S. I once had some English wanker tell me the U.S. was founded by wealthy people for wealthy people, to exploit and impoverish everyone else. He was trying to use some Jew bullshit like Marxism to explain the founding of the U.S. - and I told him so.

I've almost never seen a foreigner who understands the U.S. I do know one German woman who's been here 30 years who understands it. She even understands the Electoral College - and told me almost all Germans don't understand it. They don't understand why the Hildabeast isn't President since she (supposedly) won the popular vote (she also knows that Hitler was democratically elected).

I've also told Canadians to worry about the nancy boy they put into office and to not worry about the U.S. and what it's doing. They were making comments about the supposed incompetence of Trump but didn't have a clue about the criminality, corruption and pathological lying of the Hildabeast.

As for Trump claiming he can get the U.S. up to an increase of 4% a year on GNP instead of the anemic 2% we'd had under Obama, that seems to bit high, but I'd settle for 3% a year.

I dread to think would be happen if the middle-class evaporated and we were left with just rich and poor. That state of affair wouldn't last very long at all before collapsing into destruction.

"And how do people view politicians? As liars, evil compromisers who strive to enrich themselves through corruption, nepotism and bribery" - Eric von Kuehnelt-Leddihn

Hubris, Pride and the Monstrous Self

"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18

I've written several times about the Greek concept of Hubris (which they considered to lead to insanity), and which they correctly identified as the source of so many problems in the world. The ancient Hebrews and the Bible (both the Old and New Testament) called it Pride.

The late Russell Kirk called it "the Monstrous Self" and said it was the source of all the evil in the world. He and the others were right. It is the source of all the evil in the world.

The late psychiatrist M. Scott Peck said "scapegoating was the genesis of human evil," and he was right. But scapegoating - or projection - is but a manifestation of the Monstrous Self. Any of the Seven Deadly Sins - envy, greed, gluttony - are but manifestations of that Monstrous Self.

I've had some tell Pride is a good thing, but they don't know what the Bible and later church fathers meant by it. They didn't mean the arĂȘte (excellence) that leads to eudemonia (well-being).

They meant the Pride that leads one to being a "godless self-god" (which is how one critic referred to the ogre Karl Marx). The one that leads to destruction - what Greeks identified as Nemesis.

That Biblical Pride (originally called "vainglory") was considered the worst sin of all, and the basis of all the rest. They were (and are) right. The Monstrous Self seeks in vain "glory" for itself - power and money. Power and money to use to exploit others.

The modern definitions of that Monstrous Self include such words as narcissist, borderline, sociopath, psychopath - people with no guilt, no conscience, no remorse, no ability to love. People are just things to them to be manipulated and abused for their sadistic pleasure.

Quite a few years ago I spent several months reading the True Crime books of the late Ann Rule (who knew Ted Bundy while the police were searching for the serial killer who turned out to be Bundy).

How in the world, I wondered, could anyone be a serial killer who slaughtered dozens of women, chopped them up - and then had sex with their body parts? Turns out all of them are psychopaths - consumed by what retired FBI profiler John Douglas called "power, domination and control." Again, no conscience, no guilt, no remorse, no love. Just hate, rage and envy - and an overwhelming desire for vengeance.

I've written before about the complete ignorance of frauds such as Roissy, Roosh and "Vox Day" when they write about "the Dark Triad." They know nothing about it. Anyone who exhibits the Dark Triad is at minimum a narcissist and at the worst a psychopath.

I have actually met psychopaths (none of the grifters above can claim the same). They can be quite charming (hence the "con" in "con man" - as in "confidence man"). But all of it is a sham calculated to charm their victims. It's all a lie.

I've also mentioned my parents read me a lot of "fairy tales" (folk tales) as a tiny kid and when an adult I analyzed them. Many are about the perils of envy, which again is an aspect of the Monstrous Self (think of the Monstrous Self of the Evil Queen in "Snow White," in which she tries to murder Snow White out of envy, and how the step-mother tells her daughters to cut off parts of their feet to make their feet fit Cinderella's slipper).

The Greeks advised people to "know their selves" and suggested Sophrosyne – this means more than anything else to know your limitations.

Because those are nothing but their Monstrous Self don't know their limitations - and that's why Nemesis always mows them down. That's what Vainglory invariably does to all of them.

Will Hillary Clinton Run in 2020?

I wouldn't be surprised that Hillary Clinton is so self-deluded, so obsessed with money and power, that she tries to run in 2020. After all, Bernie Saunders ran when he was 76, and Clinton will be 74 (although she appears to be a zombie kept alive by prescription medication).

She probably thinks that because she won the popular vote (which is debatable once you take out the dead people and the illegal aliens) that she win the Electoral College next time.

The Mainstream Media, as always, will be on her side, and tell every lie they can to help her. They'll say the economy is a catastrophe during Trump, even if it is humming along nicely (then they'll say he "inherited Obama's economy").

If Trump does the things he says he's doing to do, the economy will improve substantially. It ain't hard - cut taxes and regulations, and the economy takes off. Deport the illegal aliens, and wages will rise (I've known about 10 who've self-deported back to Mexico). Now we need to get rid of the potential terrorists and those with IQs of 89 (which the mean IQ of immigrant Third Worlders).

I am not a fan of either party (we actually only have one party with a left and a right wing). But Trump and many of the people in his new administration aren’t politicians - and that is a huge plus.

I knew this kind of push-back was going to happen sooner or later. I predicted Trump in a landslide victory because people do not vote ideology but their economic interest. If the economy had 1% unemployment and four percent growth and Clinton said she would continue those policies and not insulted the people who built this country as a "basket of deplorables" she would have won.

But hey - who's going to listen to me? I'm just another nobody.

Damn Atheist Commies!

I'm amused about the hysteria by leftists. They are absolutely refusing to take responsibility for the defeat of Democrats. It's the Russians' fault!

All those people who voted for Trump? Flyover morons! They shouldn't allowed to vote! They're too stupid to vote! Damned inbred hillbilly Nazis!

Why, without the hacking by the Russians Hillary Clinton would have won the Electoral College!

For the next four years the Mainstream Media will not stop attacking Trump. They still think it's 1974 and they can pull a Watergate on Trump and get rid of him they way Nixon resigned.

The MSM will do everything they can to stop Trump, including tell every lie.

It's reminds me of something Karl Marx said: "We Communists teach no ethics." The same thing applies to a lot of politicians.

To them it's all about power and money. Power over the citizens, whose only purpose to be cannon fodder and support the wealthy and powerful.

In a sentence, that has been the history of the world.

The Envy and Admiration of Donald Trump

I was read out loud many "fairy tales" (actually they're folk tales) by my parents when I was little. They stuck in my brain and I analyzed them when an adult. I realized they are stories that educate and entertain and contain the accumulated wisdom of the human race, to be passed on to the young.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of them are about envy and therefore hate. Think of "Snow White" and how the Evil Queen is eaten alive with envy because Snow White is more beautiful than she is and hates her so much she tries to murder her. Think of "Cinderella," in which the stepmother's daughters cut off parts of their feet to try to make their feet fit Snow White's slipper (she tells her daughters they won't need to walk when they marry a wealthy prince).

I think a lot of people voted for Trump (I predicted his landslide victory and I will never let the Hildabeast's supporters forget that) because they admired him. He wasn't a politician and he attacked lying politicians and the corrupt, lying media (I think 80% of their stories were anti-Trump but the never mentioned Hillary being fired from her first job in government for lying - in 1974) . People enjoyed what he did and admired him. That's why they were able to emotionally connect with him - and that's why he won (the Hildabeast, with her "basket of deplorables" comment, drove sensible people away from her).

The Mainstream Media is going to be attacking Trump without mercy for the next four years. I think it's because they've lost their power to influence people and no one takes them seriously anymore. They blame their problems on Trump and so envy him because he's more powerful and influential than they are. They'll never believe that Trump deserved to be elected and will always think the Hildabeast should be in office.

The main characteristic of envy is to put other people down. To blame their problems on those they envy.

The ancient Greeks (along with theologians such as Soren Kierkegaard) noticed that admiration is concealed envy. It's the benign form of envy. Transformed envy.

You can either feel envy or gratitude (and that's been noticed for thousands of years). A lot of people are grateful and relieved that Trump was elected and not a corrupt politician like the Hildabeast.

In some ways I admire Trump, despise the MSM, and am grateful and relieved that he won and not incompetents such as the Hildebeast or Jeb! (the political aspirations of the Bush Crime Family are toast). Apparently about 50 million people feel the same way.

Some Old People Wandering in the Rain

I have mentioned, more than once, that I used to own a taxi, and because of it I have a fund of bizarre stories. I had to keep a diary to remember all of them, which I still have.

We didn't always pick up adults. We did a lot of packages, too, and students going to school.

Once I had a route picking up two girls in the "desegregation" program. This meant taking little black kids who had schools across the street and instead transporting them to schools way the hell out in the county, often to two different schools maybe five blocks from each other.

I picked up one girl, then went maybe five blocks to pick up the other, then took both way out in the county, dropped one at one school, then the other at another school five blocks away.

I was paid separately for each ride, say $25 for each ride. Then I pick them up from school and take them home, again getting paid for each ride. And in the afternoon I'd pick up a girl from kindergarten and take her home for another $25. I was making $125 a day working part-time - maybe five hours a day.

Unfortunately I had to pick up these girls at 6:30 in the morning, so often before picking them up I'd stop at the local convenience store and get a couple of pastries and some milk.

One morning it was drizzling and when I walked out of the store I saw an old man walking in the rain carrying a small paper bag. I knew immediately he had been in the store buying something to eat, so of course I wondered why he was walking in the rain. I knew he couldn't live very far away, being that he was walking at 6:00 in the morning.

So I stopped and offered him a ride, no charge. He immediately got in the car and gave me his address, which was about three blocks away.

He told me he couldn't find his way home. He remembered his address, but forgot how to get there. He looked to be about 85.

He told me he and his wife had lived there for 40 years.

Otherwise his mind was clear and he wasn't senile - he had just forgotten where his was located.

He wasn't upset about it. He told me this in a calm, rational voice.

So I dropped him off and watched him walk into his house, then went to pick up my five-year-olds.

That's not the only time I encountered a lost elderly person. It happened one more time, when a gas attendant pointed to an old lady walking down the sidewalk and suggested I give her a ride. When I did I found she was walking in the opposite direction of where she lived. She knew her address so I took her home.

She lived about seven blocks from the gas station. Long walk for an 85-year-old woman.

She had me come her in house, opened up her little change purse on her wrist - and gave her a quarter tip, apparently thinking it was still 1935. I smiled and thanked her and went on my way.

I'm sure both are dead by now, otherwise they'd be about 120 years old.

The Immigration Laws are Finally Being Enforced

I know a bunch of Mexicans in the U.S. One of them, who has a work permit but not a Green Card, told me his work permit was not renewed so he has to move back to Mexico. He also said a lock was put on his bank account, which I expect to be taken off once he gives the government some money.

He also told me he got his full paycheck because nothing was taken out. I have to pay federal, state, Medicare and Social Security. He paid nothing. In fact, none of the Mexicans I know pays anything, contrary to the lies of the media.

Actually, this guy told me all the Mexicans at the warehouse he works at are being fired because none of them pays anything. He said it was about 25 workers out of about 150 altogether. None of them has an SS card.

The only reason any foreigner is in the U.S. is to undercut American wages. It's been like that for a long time.

Everyone knows that Chinese built the railroads. Not quite. They built the railroads out West but the Irish built them in the East. Both groups were imported to undercut American wages. (The Chinese were described as "servile workers" and it took the Irish to strike and get better pay.)

Disney, for example, fired a bunch of Americans who wrote software and replaced them with people from India. And they had the Americans train their replacements to get their severance pay.

There are already a bunch of anti-immigration laws on the books. They've never been enforced. Why? More money for the wealthy.

This Mexican told me one Mexican at the warehouse muttered, "Trump." It was about the only word he knew because he apparently knows about as much English as I know Spanish.

None of this is Trump's doing. He's not even President yet. It's the doing of the Republican majority in Congress, which is finally enforcing the laws.

The more the laws are enforced, the more I expect wages for Americans to rise. The fewer workers, the higher the wages.

That's what supply-and-demand does.

I Am For Globalization But....

...but not for corporations.

Corporations are creations of the State and have the legal status of persons. All of them are anti-free market and anti-competition (competition always lowers prices and increases quality). If they get big and rich enough they give millions of dollars to politicians so these bribed political whores will "do favors" for them.

The Bush and Clinton Crime Families were notorious for "doing favors" for corporations, as was Barak Obama. This included looking the other way at sweatshops in other countries, in which young women had their passports confiscated, were raped and beaten, were forced to work 14 hours a day, and lived 14 to a room with one toilet - and paid almost nothing. The Bushes especially looked the other way about such things. Along with many other terrible things their crime family did.

The Founding Fathers, except for the fraud Alexander Hamilton (who only wanted the "rich" and "well-born" to rule - hilarious considering he was "the bastard son of Scots peddler") were not fans of corporations. They pulled their charters left and right and literally put them to death (Thomas Jefferson referred to these people as "the moneyed interests" and wrote they were only interested "in profit").

Cargill, for example, is one of the few corporations that controls our food supply. Farmers have to sell to Cargill for a pittance, then Cargill turns around and sells it to all over the world for a huge profit. They can only do this because the U.S. government allows it.

As an aside (sort of) Cargill had a grain elevator on my way to middle school (located on - what else? - Cargill Road). It's been torn down but another one was built in another place.

All corporations do this. They bribe politicians to pass laws to allow them to get monopoly power.

Our War for Independence was caused by a corporation - the East India Company. It had a monopoly granted by the British Crown to monopolize the tea trade and therefore attempted to put American companies out of business. That's how the Boston Tea Party happened in which crates of tea were dumped overboard (St. Paul was right when he wrote, "The love of money is the root of all evil").

Recently Trump has claimed Boeing is trying to charge way too much money for replacements for Air Force One. He's right - the job-killing Boeing was allowed by the Obama administration to sell planes to Iran.

Can you imagine Obama and the Clinton and Bush Crime Families complaining about this? Of course not. The taxpayers are just supposed to bend over and take it.

Obama, the Clinton and Bush Crime Families, never gave a good Goddamn about the exporting of American jobs. They were being paid to look the other way (the vile Dubya Shrub said he "didn't understand poor people" - and this party-boy crackhead loser was also contemptuously referred to as "Junior" by the serious players in his daddy's White House).

Now imagine if corporations had their charters pulled. Globalization would actually work then. But it would benefit the American people. That's the wonders of free trade, not managed trade.

It's a Much Better Society When All the "Alphas" Are Dead

“Because no one has more thirst for earth, for blood, and for ferocious sexuality than the creatures who inhabit cold mirrors” - Alejandra Pizarnik

“...manipulated his power, wealth, and position in the entertainment industry to sexually abuse and exploit the underage Plaintiff through the use of drugs, alcohol, threats, and inducements which resulted in Plaintiff suffering catastrophic psychological and emotional injuries.” - Court documents about Bryan Singer

"...the state simply removed from the population via execution the most violent members of society. took them right out of the gene pool and largely stopped them from reproducing." - HBD Chick

"...the primate alpha male is a child abuser, a murderer and a rapist: he violates some of the most basic taboos of every human culture." -"Eddy"

"I have long suspected that early humans worked out that they'd be better off with without alphas and systematically massacred them." - "Eddy"

"If we have any genetic alphas, I would be inclined to look among the the psychopaths to find them." - "Eddy"

I pointed out before I don't believe in all this comic book Alpha/Beta nonsense. For one thing, no can define "Alpha." Everyone has their own definition, which means the concept is meaningless. The accepted definition is that of a insecure, weak-minded narcissist or psychopath, and the evidence is pretty conclusive these kinds of people were correctly killed in the past because they were so much trouble.

"Alpha: The alpha is the tall, good-looking guy who is the center of both male and female attention. The classic star of the football team who is dating the prettiest cheerleader. The successful business executive with the beautiful, stylish, blonde, size zero wife. All the women are attracted to him, while all the men want to be him, or at least be his friend. At a social gathering like a party, he's usually the loud, charismatic guy telling self-flattering stories to a group of attractive women who are listening with interest. However, alphas are only interested in women to the extent that they exist for the alpha's gratification, physical and psychological, they are actually more concerned with their overall group status."

That definition is almost the clinical description of a narcissist/psychopath.

I never use the word "Alpha," and if I had to define it, it's being the best you can be. That's the way the Greeks defined it over 2500 years ago: excellence in life leading to well-being.

Most politicians are psychopathic. In fact, the world appears to be run by psychopaths - because we don't kill them. After all, what can you do with the evil except kill them?

This article, which was written by Tex Arcane and is from his site The Vault, is about the exposure of the predatory homosexual/pederast/pedophile Bryan Singer (contrary to the media myth, homosexuals are not "gay": many of them are promiscuous, disease-ridden drug abusers who prefer 12-year-old boys.)

In this article Arcane speaks of drowning child molesters, and letting the child stand on them. This is revenge/justice after humiliation. What I have written about as Hubris followed by Nemesis. Hubris originally meant to humiliate someone (often in public) and often had a sexual connotation.

Nemesis/Revenge/justice is an attempt to replace shame with pride, and is an attempt to make the victim "whole" (which comes from the same word as "healthy.")

Nowadays we have such concepts as "therapy," which I suppose works in some cases, but I think the "Teutonics" had a better concept.

"What happens at Bryan Singer's house on the weekend"

"I figured out the biological game theory of all this a long time ago.

"It starts with basic sociopath. Then you figure in the low investment strategy of sex with children in terms of energy required to find and sustain relationships. There is a much better ratio of return for a person who simply is not as interested in love, closeness and mammalian family the way a real person would be. The child predator is pursuing a gigantic arc of efficiency that starts and begins with the fact their insides are a virtual vacuum in there.

"You also consider the reward to their personalities which essentially revolves around dominance, cruelty and inhuman lack of empathy. The child is the ideal victim and also represents the lowest risk in order to fulfill these wicked, innate impulses at the same time they gratify their sex drives. All things considered, being a child molester is secondary to the fact that deep in the root of their beings they were born monstrous, horribly twisted abominations. All these other behaviors tend to flow out of that in terms of the path of least resistance to their development in life. The child sex is just genetic expression for the person they were born as.

"Even as a good tree does not produce bad fruit, so a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.

"It is not that having sex with children is a 'sickness' that otherwise spoils what would be a healthy human being. They are in fact poisonous and toxic right down through their biology to the cellular level. If it doesn't express itself as dominance and humiliation of children with a sexual component it would most assuredly express itself in another fashion that would be just as bad. This is why child predators are always found associated with other things that don't seem related, including murder, torture, kidnapping, forgery and embezzling.

"The Teutonics in Europe knew there was not a cure for this and that is why they administered the only cure that works, which was drowning them in public while other men held them down, then permitting the child they had offended to walk out into the river and stand on their shoulders when they were dead. Over the course of thousands of years, this emerged from trial and error as the best way to handle these horrible, depraved bastards and to put them and their crimes behind you in the past so you could get on with your lives.

"If you compare the Teutonics with their matching roles of fathers in the Middle East, you can see the real gulf between the two peoples is and has been enormous for thousands upon thousands of years. After the ritual of drowning the child molester, all the people in the village would treat the boy or girl involved as though it had never happened and the girl would be assumed to be a chaste virgin on her wedding night. Nobody would speak of it again and the boy would be treated as no less a man when he came of age. Think of the Middle East where the girl is punished by stoning her to death in an open pit and even the man who did the deed is invited to throw a stone of his own at the young girl he has caught and deflowered by force. Compare this to all those tales you have heard of these brutal, heartless Viking barbarian peoples of Europe in the old days and then ask yourself which group of people would really have the deepest compassion and love of their own children and would show it in their actions. I would say that Christ was right - you really do know people by their fruits."

On Predicting the Future

I rarely try to predict things specifically. I do remember predicting Reagan over Carter because Carter was a catastrophe.

I also predicted Trump in a landslide over the Hildabeast because, for one thing, the Hildabeast was, and is, also a catastrophe. And also because Trump said the right things that people needed to hear, especially in ignored and impoverished Flyover Land (thank you all the liars and puppets in goverment and their masters, the Cosmodemonic Transnational Megacorporations. Or as Thomas Jefferson wrote, "The selfish spirit of commerce knows no country, and it feels no passion or principle but that of gain.").

I also predicted the wars of the vile, cowardly, corrupt, never-worked-a-day-in-his-life Dubya Shrub would be a catastrophe. For one thing, everyone in his administration was a catastrophe, including Dubya.

For another thing, there is an old but true saying: "You can conquer a country on horseback but you have to dismount to rule." I knew Iraq would never stand a snowball's chance in hell against the U.S. military but the U.S. would never rule or rebuild Iraq.

I remember thinking we were attacked by Saudi Arabia (almost all the hijackers were from there) so the U.S. attacked Afghanistan and Iraq? WTF? If that many hijackers were from North Korea or Cuba, would we not realize we were attacked by those two countries?

I have mentioned before you can just about live your life by clichés (they wouldn't be clichés unless there was much truth in them). Here is another cliché: "No sword cuts so brutally as when a peasant becomes a lord." (This is one of the reasons democracy always falls, because peasants are always elected).

I have memorized a bunch of Aesop's Fables. Not so much the fables but the morals to them, such as "Equals make the best friends."

I have found these clichés have never failed me. They are, after all, based on thousands, of years of experience.

The dumb don't even learn from their own experience. The average learn only from their own. The smart learn from other people's experience.

Here are some morals to some Aesop's fables: "The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny" and "The greedy have no gratitude." Just look at Hillary Clinton.

Keep Your Friends Close...

and your enemies even closer.

Now I think Trump is going to offer Romney a job, even though he's an enemy.

After all, better inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in.

If I was Romney I wouldn't take the job. But then, he is a POS politician, so he'll take it if offered.

Almost All Politicians Are Corrupt - Meaning About 99.999% of Them

"If the gods had meant us to vote they would have given us candidates" - Jim Hightower

The things I have seen, I'm surprised my eyeballs don't explode and my hair burst into flames.

I have mentioned I know an 84-year-old man who spent his life as a political consultant and who told me decades ago he's only met one honest politician - all the rest had money, sex and drug problems. Mostly they have money problems. This has been the history of the world.

I have found my friend is right. Mostly they're greedy for money, even the rich ones. They're gluttons for money! money! money! The Bushes are very rich, have never worked a day in their lives, and yet Dubya was caught many times skirting the law and sometimes violating it to get political donations. The Clintons are the same. Trump, being a multi-billionaire, doesn't have this problem. That right there is a big plus for him.

It's got to the point - and has been for a long time - that you have to be rich to run for office. And then when politicians get in office they want to become even richer, richer, richer! Enough is never enough for them. "Enough is as good as a feast"? Don't make me laugh.

The Founding Fathers did not want political office be be places of profit. Almost all of them wrote about that several times. They thought the worst people were attracted to politics if money was involved. They were right.

I have found, if you want to understand people, look to the Seven Deadly Sins. I've written about that several times.

Greed, Pride, Gluttony, and all the rest - politicians show all of them in exaggerated form. I also think deceit and fear should be added to the Seven Deadly Sins. The Bible, upon which the West was founded, is full of proscriptions about not lying and not being afraid.

All politicians lie and use people's fear of things to get elected. And most people fall for it every time.

The history of the world has been class warfare between the Haves and the Have-nots (read the New Testament sometime to see what Jesus said about the Haves of his time). It has brought down society after society in bloodshed and destruction. The U.S. has avoided that except for the War Between the States, which was about money more than anything else - the wealthy in the industrial North trying to economically exploit the agrarian South.

The people at the socio-economic top created horrendous problems for everyone else (the people at the bottom cause a lot of violent crime). But together both of them are responsible for about 99% of the problems in the world. All you have to do is look around.

Many of them - top and bottom - are criminals.

After all, St. Paul did write, "the love [actually 'lust'] of money is the root of all evil." Not money, but the lust for it. He was right about that.

Kakistocracy - rule by the worst people in government

One of the Nuts I Met Driving a Taxi

I owned a taxi for five years. It was the funnest job I ever had and the only reason I quit is that the influx of Third Worlders dropped it from a middle-class job to close to poverty wages.

One of the first drivers I met had started driving in the '50s. He once told me when he started driving he thought, "Where has this job been all my life?" That's how great it was. His name was Al and every year he drove 11 months, took off a month, put his wife in the sidecar of his motorcycle and toured the country for a month. That's what kind of job it used to be until it was wrecked by the immigration of lowlifes.

Nigerians, Somalis, Russians - the hell with all of them. Most are criminals and many are sexual perverts. So what's new about Third Worlders?

I'm all for Uber and I hope it puts taxi companies out of business. The laws for taxis are to protect and enrich the owners of the taxi companies, not the drivers.

I did meet a lot of nuts. That really goes without saying when you drive a taxi.

One of them - and I'm not making this up - had the last name of "Gaylord." He was a loon. He clearly had a serious, permanent case of brain-sprain.

He was either on disability or else lived on his dead parents' money. Probably both.

Every day he called a taxi to drive him across the street to go to his daily restaurant (God knows what the workers thought of this ninnie). He wouldn't walk. The other drivers had warned me about this nut.

He lived in a downtown residence for retired people - or perhaps for anyone who wanted to live there. It was a former upper-class motel.

The first time I picked him up and saw him bumbling out of the front door I thought, "Uh oh." He was fairly big, overweight, wore this weird fur hat and just as weird fur coat (even in the summer), and had a transitor radio clamped to his ear. I didn't even know transitior radios still existed.

The first time I picked him up he opened the back door and tried to spit on the street. He missed and hit my car. He apologized but still!

He never left his studio apartment except to get something to eat. One time I delivered a huge box of toilet paper to him and the clerk at the desk said, "He needs it." I just smiled.

I delivered this box to his room. His strange room. All it had was a bed and a dresser at the end of the bed. There were prescription bottles scattered on the dresser and on it was a huge oil painting of his mother.

I thought, "What is this nut doing? Jerking off to a painting of his mom?" It would not have surprised me.

I have no idea what happened to this goof. Probably still in his studio room with the oil painting of his mother.

It could have been worse. At least I didn't find a lil' pig in his room dressed in women's crotchless underwear and wearing lipstick.

America's Real Divide Isn't Left or Right But Top to Bottom Which is Is Why People Vote Up Or Down

"Right to left is theory; top to bottom is experience" - Jim Hightower

People have tried to tell me that I "don't know how left this country is." I just smiled and said this county isn't "right" or "left."

People don't vote "right" or "left." They vote, as Reagan said, up or down. Because they know the real divide is top to bottom, between that small minority will much money and political power, not much sense - and then there is everyone else.

There is something about some people - greed, hubris, choose whichever of the Seven Deadly Sins you want - that when they gain money and political power they use it to try to crush everyone else.

My hometown has gone from 50,000 people to 30,000 and the steel mill, the main employer, has closed down.

Many people think there is a difference between the parties. For a long time there wasn't. We didn't have two parties; we had one with a right wing and a left wing. There was about a nickel's difference between the parties.

This crushing of everyone else by the rich and powerful had been the history of the world. In the past it has always ended in horrendous bloodshed and the destruction of government and society. Revolution, which is always a bad thing, brings what John Milton called "Chaos and Old Night."

I've had people tell me they are "liberal" or "conservative" but often they use dictionary definitions, which have nothing to do with reality.

Both parties are in thrall to Wall Street and Cosmodemonic Megacorporations and don't give a crap about Main Street. The people finally figured this out, which is why Trump was elected. I predicted it and I've explained why. Everyone in Flyover Land is being crushed by Washington DC, Wall Street and the MegaBanks. If Walmart had its way we'd be living in cinderblock apartment complexes.

Everyone in Flyover Land is fed up with the evaporation of their high-paying jobs and their middle-class lifestyle. People in Montana have more in common with people in Kentucky than than they have in common with those in DC.

People always vote for change, never the status quo. As I've written they always vote for Hope, Faith and Charity. They have faith and hope they'll get politicians who are charitable and put the country first.

Maybe next time the pollsters will take Flyover Land into consideration and finally get it right.

I did, and that's why I got it right.

"Right wing, left wing, chicken wing, it's all the same to me" - Woody Guthrie

Let's Keep the Electoral College

We're going to be hearing crying about getting rid of the Electoral College since it appears the Hildabeast won the popular vote (or maybe not, once you take out the dead people voting and the illegal aliens in Cook County (Chicago), various "sanctuary cities" and California).

Even if she did win the popular vote it doesn't matter. This country was not founded as a democracy but a republic. The Founding Fathers despised democracy and knew their history. Democracy always collapsed into horrible bloodshed and the collapse of both government and society (one of my trolls was babbling the Electoral College existed only because there was no telegraph poles or modern communications back then. This is utterly wrong, but the essence of being a troll is not knowing what you are talking about).

The purpose of the Electoral College was (and is) to prevent direct democratic election of the President, and to prevent more populated states vote from having more power than smaller ones.

Here's an example. If we had direct democratic election of the President just about the only four places Presidential candidates would campaign would be California, Florida, Texas and New York. And when elected they'd have to enact policies to please those four states and ignore just about everyone else.

The Electoral College prevents those things.

I also think certain very populous states should be chopped up. For a long time I've thought California should be chopped up into six different states and Illinois (where I am originally from) three (southern Illinois and northern Illinois might as well be different planets).

After all the East coast has some tiny states such as Rhode Island. All the original states aren't very big. They didn't start to get big until you got out to the Midwest.

The Founding Fathers, again, knew their history and knew what they were doing.

If we had direct democratic election of the President it would be a bad thing and contribute more to the splitting up of this country than probably anything else.

I'm sure people in Tennessee and Kentucky don't want to have laws enacted by leftist goofs from California.
