People no longer know what to do with you, regardless of your race. In the past you could get some position in academia and marry a spouse that would keep you in touch with reality. Now it is more like being some sort of advanced technology that people no longer know how to use.Augusthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08758314961163692341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-19213076590912147032016-01-05T18:51:52.458-05:002016-01-05T18:51:52.458-05:00"Some exaggeration is happening here."

Here are a suicidal author, schizophrenic brother, a wacked-out eccentric dad and the weird mother who fell for him- clearly, there's some kind of hereditary mental illness at work in this family. Undoubtedly his mixed-race identity-confusion exacerbated matters, but the larger issue is that the author's parents were quite literally crazy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-23397383517683945632016-01-04T15:56:11.155-05:002016-01-04T15:56:11.155-05:00There was a study (I think) about musculature, and...There was a study (I think) about musculature, and then someone (probably Mangan) put the two together. I do find it very disturbing that a woman of any race would reject men of their own race for relationships and marriage. What do these women feel about their own fathers who are the same race as them? This behavior seems rather heartless, selfish and cruel. I did not understand that mixed-race children could be subjected to so much pain until now. I think it's incredible that these women could not understand the effects on their children. If a kid even remotely has any asian features, the kid will be considered asian, even with a white father.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-15840625683351981672016-01-03T06:11:07.240-05:002016-01-03T06:11:07.240-05:00Asian women preferring white men, and outright rej...
Asian women preferring white men, and outright rejecting men of their own race, is strange and even seems unnatural, but I'm not a psychiatrist or anthropologist. I would think that people would instinctively prefer their own race/ethnicity for group association and especially bond-pairing and having children. Could this behavior be considered a mental illness? How much of this is learned behavior (e.g., social programming/conditioning) and how much is biological or instinctive?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-88945004792613390642015-12-31T22:42:49.074-05:002015-12-31T22:42:49.074-05:00As psycho as a feminist. We do not have kids. Some of what this guy has to say is correct. But a lot of it is overreaching and delusional. Unlike this guy's father, I do consider the various N.E. Asian cultures (Japan, Korean, Chinese) fully equal to that of the West. The N.E. Asian cultures have advantages that the West does not have and the west has advantages the N.E. Asian cultures do not have (namely pioneering in the Frederick Jackson Turner/Robert Heinlein sense). Both cultures have a work ethic and a commitment to productive accomplishment. These are the hallmark of northern cultures. Northern whites and northern Asians are compliments of each other. In short, my wife and I are "northern' cultural supremacists.

Where this guy goes wrong is in the undesirability of Asian guys. The Asian guys I see are cool. They work out in the gym and are buffed. When I lived in Japan, my best friend I used to party with (Japanese guy) was nearly 6 foot tall, very good looking, and was a competitive surfer (he competed in a surfing contest in Australia in the early 90's). He was attractive enough to get most any white girl he wanted, but he prefered Japanese women. His girlfriend was hot.

In college, I knew a Japanese-American guy from Hawaii who was also totally cool. He also had lots of attractive white women hanging around him. One of our state competitive wrestlers in high school was Japanese-American as well.

Asian guys are perfectly capable of being in the game. They simply have to spend time in the gym getting into shape and picking out the right clothes to wear.

kurt9https://www.blogger.com/profile/02101147267959016924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-34082599291503240602015-12-31T09:36:50.270-05:002015-12-31T09:36:50.270-05:00I don't know if the father was crazy but the k...I don't know if the father was crazy but the kid is going down that road. It seems to me that the gist of the problem is that a kid who established his identity in the idea that his father was wrong believes now that his father was right and hates the world for it. People are seldom always right or always wrong and this kids' father is no exception. In addition, the world is not a homogeneous place. My advice would be for the son to physically remove himself completely from his current surroundings. He'd gain a new perspective and there's nothing like a new perspective to cheer a person up.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8497093028548856666.post-54297813095760242742015-12-31T08:38:41.214-05:002015-12-31T08:38:41.214-05:00Bitterness is eating this guy's insides like a...Bitterness is eating this guy's insides like a moral cancer. I would think following the patterns of basic biology in preferences to be outside the scope of morality as long as it doesn't result in varying states from the moral perspective. Would preferring clean air be a moral choice? Would preferring good-tasting food be so? I wouldn't call that evil. Then why would having certain beauty preferences be otherwise?
