Only then will the brain develop to it's full potential and potentially improve in the next generation.

And even if you have a more intelligent population - Poland has average IQ of 106 - so what? Still it is only used as a country with a cheap labor force and for low-level manufacturing. Most young high-performers leave the country and the rest works odd-jobs in the West while being officially unemployed at 15% or more.

The US resembles Britain in 1904 - still believing to be the great superpower, while another one was set to take over - the US back then. China is going to take over from the US now. If, as some people are arguing, we raise the minimum wage at fast food outlets to $15/hr, those jobs will be filled by semi-retirees and (legitimate) college graduates. They already are.

I would recommend reading Part two of George Orwell's 'The Road to Wiggan Pier'. The first part is a survey of the conditions of the working class in England, circa 1930s. Part two has 3 chapters discussing class distinctions and rivalries. The last 3 chapters are ostensively an argument making socialism more palatable. But in chapter 12 Orwell offers a very insightful look at the machines taking jobs. Of course, his solution is socialism but his projections are good anyway.

We won't see a lot of people making things again, assuming the absence of some civilization collapse. We will see some people, although higher IQ, working maintaining the machines that make the things. I'd add another: high IQ says nothing about the ends it is put to achieve.
